Virtuous provides the Events industry with a credible, structured pathway to climate action through insetting and offsetting.
Built around three core modules — Project Development, Registry, and Marketplace — the platform supports members from concept to impact:

Governance
Virtuous by NZCE is a collaborative platform designed to drive systemic change across the events industry. At its core is the belief that meaningful climate action must be shaped with the industry — not just delivered to it.
That’s why Virtuous is governed through a participatory structure: a Steering Committee of industry leaders, supported by two expert working groups focused on insetting and offsetting. This inclusive approach ensures the platform remains relevant, credible, and aligned with the real-world needs of its stakeholders.
Members are encouraged to participate in the working group that best matches their experience and interests, and help shape the future of climate action in our sector.
